AFF Stages

Below is a brief description of the 9 stages required to pass the AFF course.

Stage 1 - Jumping out of the plane yourself, experience of freefall, height awareness, deployment of parachute. 2 instructors accompany you.
Stage 2 - Performing turns and forward movement. 2 instructors accompany you.
Stage 3 - Hover control and heading awareness. 2 instructors accompany you.
Stage 4 - Similar to stage 3, however both instructors release you so you learn to maintain stability and balance without assistance.
Stage 5 - 360 degree turns, hover control and forward movement. 1 instructor accompanies you.
Stage 6 - 360 degree turns, hover control and forward movement. 1 instructor accompanies you.
Stage 7 - Backloops and forward tracking. 1 instructor accompanies you.
Stage 8 - Different rates of descent, figure of 8 turn and backloop, tracking with turns. 1 instructor accompanies you.
Stage 9 - Low altitude exit. Instructors will monitor you only.
